Bathala Scents and Natural Wellness at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival: A Memorable Experience!

We are thrilled to share that Bathala Scents and Natural Wellness participated as an official vendor at the Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival in downtown Winnipeg for the first time this year. This incredible event, known for its vibrant and diverse performances, attracts people from all over the world, each coming to showcase their talents and creativity.

Our First Year at the Fringe
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire team, especially Wes Rambo, Zoe, Hera, and all the organizers of the Winnipeg Fringe Festival. As first-time vendors, we were thrilled to participate in such a dynamic and well-known event. Our excitement was met with an experience that exceeded our expectations.

The organizers were incredibly accommodating and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that our participation was smooth, enjoyable, and hassle-free. Their dedication and professionalism truly made a significant difference in our experience.

While we noticed that there weren't as many vendors as in previous years, this did not dampen the spirit of the festival. The atmosphere was lively, full of energy, and the enthusiasm of the attendees was contagious. We are honored to have been part of such a vibrant community event and are already looking forward to future editions of the Winnipeg Fringe Festival. Thank you once again to the entire organizing team for their hard work and support.

 
Daily Routine
Our typical day began with setting up our booth at 10 AM and wrapping up by 11 PM. While it made for long days, the opportunity to engage with visitors and other participants made it worthwhile. We observed that foot traffic generally started strong in the morning, slowed in the mid-afternoon, and then picked up again in the evening as more people attended the shows and performances.

Challenges and Preparations
As any seasoned vendor knows, being prepared for the weather is crucial. This year, the heat was intense, so we came equipped with our own fan to keep cool throughout the day. Despite the challenges of managing long hours and varying customer flows, we found the experience rewarding and enriching.

Security and Safety
While we were cautious about the possibility of theft, we felt reassured by the presence of security personnel patrolling the area. We also had access to a secure stock room where we could safely store our products overnight.

Reflecting on Our Experience
Overall, our experience at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival was incredibly positive. We met many wonderful people, from fellow vendors to festival-goers, each with a shared passion for creativity and community.
