Can I write for someone else?
Yes, with all our heart. You can write for yourself or for someone you love. Just include their name in your letter so we can hold them in mind too.
Do I have to be there on the night of the Full Moon?
Not at all. Letters sent through the form, and cards placed in the Bathala Box in our stores, are included in the ritual even if you cannot be there.
Is this a religious activity?
No. It is a gentle, non-religious practice about setting intentions and sending good wishes. Everyone is welcome, whatever their faith or background.
Will my wish come true?
We cannot promise any result, and we would never want to. What we can promise is that your letter is received with care. Many people find that writing down what they hope for, clearly and with love, helps them feel focused and hopeful.
Who leads the ceremony?
Our Founder, a certified Reiki and energy practitioner, leads the ceremony under the Full Moon and lifts each intention with care.
How will I know my letter was released?

What if my wish is simple, like “I want to be happy”?
That is a lovely place to start. If you can, add a little detail, such as what happiness looks like for you, and write it in a positive way. Clear, kind words make for a more meaningful letter.
