Brittany's constant presence and approachability made it easy for vendors and attendees alike to feel at ease. The volunteers, easily recognizable in their bright yellow shirts, were incredibly helpful, contributing to the festival’s success. The warm and accommodating spirit of the people in Altona added to the festival’s welcoming atmosphere, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Exploring Altona with Bathala Scents and Natural Wellness
Our team at Bathala Scents and Natural Wellness had the pleasure of exploring Altona, located just 1.5 hours away from Winnipeg. Though the distance was manageable for daily travel, we decided to stay for three days to fully immerse ourselves in the festival experience.
Before the event, the organizers thoughtfully briefed us on our booth location, ensuring we had a good spot to set up our tent. Setting up on Friday was a breeze, thanks to the supportive volunteers who guided us to our spot. The festival grounds were bustling with activity, from food trucks and vendors to charitable organizations showcasing their projects.
Engaging with New and Loyal Customers
While the first day started slowly due to the weather, we were delighted to see more people arrive on the second and third days. We met many new clients and were thrilled to reconnect with loyal customers who were already familiar with our stores in Winnipeg. The festival provided an excellent opportunity for us to engage with the community and showcase our products.
A Festival Full of Activities
The Sunflower Festival offered a wide range of activities for visitors of all ages. From the 2024 Olympics-themed events and beauty pageants to the farmer’s market, parade, and wrestling matches, there was something for everyone. Families enjoyed free swimming at the local pool, bouncy castles, live entertainment, and much more. The continuous stream of events ensured that there was never a dull moment.
